Since 1999, the Naturospace has been enchanting visitors through its diversity of multicolored tropical butterflies that roam around in absolute freedom, going so far sometimes as to rest on their shoulders.
Is the weather dull, chilly? Forget about winter and come and enjoy our unchanging temperature of 28°C! As from all morning, enjoy our short film airing at the entrance and come and watch butterflies being born in the glasshouse hatchery. Bred in dedicated farms throughout the world, our lepidopterans have indeed arrived in the form of chrysalides and take flight at the Naturospace. Their metamorphosis is a unique and magnificent moment…
Butterflies and tropical birds
Plentiful at Christmas, our butterflies can rely on lush greenery to roam, eat, hide. Along our entirely refurbished pathways, it is up to you to read the explanatory panels and seek them out. You will also spot rare exotic birds whose colours and shapes never leave anyone indifferent. West Papuan lorikeets, hanging parrots, crested partridges, fruit doves, crowned pigeons… Just as many species that are sometimes threatened and that our team have at heart to protect by offering them a place to develop.

Plants and flowers have not been left out for Christmas. As every year, our poinsettias are as scarlet a red as Father Christmas’ outfit. And Christmas means gifts! When visiting our tropical glasshouse, take a walk inside our shop where jewellery, natural soaps, books for all ages on nature, butterflies and the tropics await you… Or even kits to make your own infused rum. The Naturospace has resolutely gone the extra mile to warm you up!

The Naturospace is open throughout the 2023 Christmas holidays: From Saturday the 23rd of December 2023 to Sunday the 7th of January 2024 included, continuously from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Closed all day on Monday 25th of December 2023 and the 1st of January 2024.
